Watson wins FDA approval for generic Nicorette mint gum (Pharmaceutical Business Review)
Watson Pharmaceuticals has announced that its subsidiary, Watson Laboratories, Inc, has received approval from the FDA to market its over-the-counter nicotine polacrilex gum USP, coated mint flavor, in the 2mg and 4mg strengths.

U.S. health regulators approved Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc's generic version of GlaxoSmithKline Plc's Nicorette mint gum, an over-the-counter product to help smokers quit, Watson said on Wednesday.
